i love fridays

YAY IT'S FRIDAY!!! I only went to work for three days but it doesn't make this Friday less sweeter. It's interesting that although I only had to work for three days I actually feel like I worked overtime all week...things at work have been quite intense. My colleague who is pregnant had to be absent because her doctor told her to go on bed rest...she will be absent for another week which means that we will be handling her classes for another week...plus...we have a new teacher that I have been watching over...she's quite a challenge and I've been trying to keep my "friendly manager" face so it has been exhausting for my face muscles...hehe! But although this week has been quite hectic it has also been good.

I don't think the people who know me would believe me when I say that I actually like being busy...I am an extremely lazy person but being busy makes me feel fulfilled...I love the sense of fulfillment that I get knowing that I accomplished something and that I was useful for something...geeesh even I can't believe I'm saying this...hehe!

For the past weeks all I've done in this blog is complain about things...I think it's time for me to be more positive. One of my friends posted a list of all the things that made her happy this week so I'm gonna post my own list of all the things that made me happy:

  1. REST
  2. time I spent with my family (Trip to Batangas...All Saints Day @ Loyola...malling and dinner at market2)
  3. my gorgeous new cardigan and my cool new plaid skirt (ala Britney)
  4. eating breakfast with my 2 adorable nephews
  5. lower parking fee (after threatening the parking attendant that I would report him to their main office for over charging me...haha...I'm such a bully)
  6. talking to my students who I think adore me...haha!
  7. my super cool team members (GO PM TEAM!!!)
  8. Breakfast buffet at "Something Fishy"
  9. my favorite student...Sarah (she thinks I'm perfect...haha!)
  10. God's love that always reminds me that I am special
