Almost Christmas

Two days to go 'til Christmas...but I'm still not feeling it. I guess it's because I haven't finished my Christmas shopping and it looks like I won't be able to finish it in time for Christmas...hehe! Man I'm so not in touch with the world...I'm supposed to join the choir for our worship service tomorrow but I haven't been attending their practices (because of work!) so I'm not sure if I'll be singing with them...I'm usually the assigned cook for our noche buena but until now I have no idea as to what I'll be preparing tomorrow...My family is in Megamall right now enjoying themselves doing their last minute christmas shopping while I'm here wasting my time away waiting for my next class:( I feel so left out:( It's like things are happening around me but I'm on pause...I wish I can stop time 'cause I have a lot of catching up to do.

These past few days I've been quite worried about Derek. Haven't heard from him since my birthday. After hearing about what happened in Mosul I've been really paranoid...well it's good (well not exactly good) that they already posted the names of the casualties on their website and thank God he's not one of them.

I'll be turning 26 tomorrow. I was excited about celebrating my birthday until this dawned on me...4 more years...I'll be 30 (YIKES!!!!!) That's too old...haha...imagine being in this world for 3 decades...that's too old!!! haha!

I won't be doing anything special tomorrow...I have to work 'til 11...we won't have time to go out and celebrate...I'd probably end up eating midnight snack in my pj's while watching Conan O Brien...hehe! But I still hope someone will cook something up and make my birthday memorable *hint hint* hehe!

I'll be celebrating my birthday with my co-workers on Friday...then on Saturday I'll be having lunch with my former co-workers...it's gonna be a busy weekend...but it's gonna be fun...hehe!
