monday na naman!!!

Somebody sent this to me through my YM...I'm not sure who sent this...I just thought I'd post it here ^^

"Find a guy, who calls you beautiful instead of hot. Who calls you back when you hang up on him. Who will stay awake just to watch you sleep. Wait for the guy who kisses your forehead. Who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats. Who holds your hand in front of his friends. Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you. Wait for the one who turns to his friends and says, "...that's her."

Translation: stay singleā€¦hehe! (bitter?!?)

I SURVIVED VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

With a little help from my friends and lotsa chocolates...I SURVIVED VALENTINE'S DAY!!! hehe! Actually, it wasn't that bad...I spent the whole day working. It's a good thing that most of my colleagues are also single and loveless so we found comfort in knowing that we are not alone...hehe! I think the only difficult part of the day was trying to answer some of my students' questions as to why I still don't have a boyfriend...hehe! After work, I treated myself by buying a slice of cheesecake from Mocha Blends...which I later on ate while watching my all time favorite romantic film, Love Actually. It was a good "loveless" valentine's day for me...hehe!

Did you know that Korea has an entirely different way of celebrating Valentine's day??? In Korea, the women are expected to give chocolates or any other presents to the important men in their lives on the 14th of February. Cool huh? Women get the perfect opportunity to make the first move in cases where the guys they like aren't paying any attention to them. The the following month, the 14th of March (White Day), it would be the men's turn to give candies or any other presents to the special women in their lives. On the 14th of April...the single people who didn't receive any chocolates on Vday and candies on White day get to celebrate "Black Day" wherein they should go to a Chinese restaurant to eat Black Noodle Soup as form of mourning for their miserable single life...hehe!!! Single people got it really bad in Korea...they have to survive three days that would remind them of their solitary existence and the absence or romance in their lives...hehe! They should all come to the Philippines where the ones with significant others are made to feel uncomfortable by single people for celebrating Valentine's day on Valentine's day...hehe!

Valentine's day was not as bad as I thought it would be...I hope ya'll had a good one...especially those who had special someones to spend it with...SPREAD LOVE ALL AROUND!!!

I'm going to EK!!!!

It's Friday again!!! HURRAH!!! I love it when weeks fly by fast.

I'm going to Enchanted Kingdom tomorrow!!!! I'm so excited 'cause it has been a long time since I last went there...and actually I'm more excited for my nephews. It's gonna be their first time to go there and I bet they'll go crazy seeing all the rides. I still have no plans to ride the Space Shuttle and Anchor's Away so I'll probably be spending most of my time on the Rialto, Log Jam and the Rio Grande...I'm sooooooooo excited!!!

Last Monday I got to watch two movies that reminded of how blessed I am to have a wonderful family and made me miss my li'l sis (T.T) I saw In Her Shoes and The Family Stone. These two films are good, heart warming family films. In Her Shoes is a chick flick that is not too cheesy. It is a story about two sisters that do not have anything in common except for their shoe size. What I like about this movie is that it's mushiness is very discreet. Unlike other sugarcoated films about sisterhood, the two sisters in this film didn't have the usual touching "you and me against the world" scenes...they actually hated each others' guts and would often call each other really mean names but you know that despite their squabbles, they can't live without each other.

This movie really made me miss Jona...*sighs*...but it's ok...I know she's really happy where she is and I'm really proud of what she's doing. I'm gonna read this poem for her when she gets married...if I get married first...I'll make her read this poem for me...hehe! (I think i'm gonna be reading this first...hehe!)

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear

no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)
